Spar wholesaler for the north of England, James Hall & Co, has relaunched one of its company-owned stores in Wolsingham, County Durham.

The new purpose-built 3,000sq ft store will offer customers a larger shop floor, Graham Eyes butchery counter and Clayton Park Deli, with the addition of forecourt facilities.

Spar Wolsingham, which was built on the site of a former garage on the A689, now features eight Shell fuel pumps, air, water and vacuum facilities, customer car parking bays, and two cycle hoops for four bicycles.

Fiona Drummond, company-owned stores director at James Hall & Co, said: “Spar Wolsingham has proudly served its local community for 26 years. We took the decision to invest in a new site on the outskirts of the village to create a larger, purpose-built Spar store with additional services that will bring value and convenience for local people.”

The new store will be open between 7am-11pm, seven days a week.
