Even though it was right after 9/11 and the economy was dire, we opened the day after Thanksgiving in 2001, just in time for Christmas, and have been in Abilene, Kansas ever since. I run a marketing company and Sandy runs a fulfillment company. We were gone too much and wanted more time at home. Small towns + social media = success!
