That’s probably because there hasn’t been a strong focus on ecommerce so you wouldn’t find premium tools. You’d be better off with BigCommerce, Shopify, or WooCommerce, especially if you sell products on multiple channels. As usual with ecommerce, you lose some, you gain some. The CEO doesn’t like drop shipping anyway.

However, it requires a bit of technical information to start up and getting customer support can become a circle jerk; due to an issue with not processing orders, I contacted WooCommerce, they directed me to Braintree (payment gateway) where I was directed to PayPal, and Paypal sent me full circle, back to WooCommerce.

Clearly, Wix is for simple stores or very small ecommerce needs, like a brick and mortar store looking to have a tiny ecommerce branch.
